What this inauguaration means to me

I am 51 yrs. old and all of my life I felt I was free. My father use to tell me "Anything you believe or conceive you can achieve!". He said it so much I thought he made it up. In any case I did feel that I could do anything until I got to my early to late 20's that showed me that you really had to belong to the "Good Ole Boys Club to get recognized and that showed me you had to be 'white'. But most definitely, did not believe we could ever have a Black President, never ever. Especially, not in my lifetime. So, today since Nov 4 (Election Day) I really felt FREE! and I thank God and Pres. Obama for that.
